BUILDING A WATERWISE ECONOMY
In 2024, WaterStart released the Building a WaterWise Economy report, promoting alignment of water incentives with economic development to guide future Nevada policy. WaterStart, the Governor’s Office of Economic Development, and research institute SRI met with leaders statewide to explore the intersection of economic growth and water management. From that engagement, WaterStart identified key challenges and opportunities and outlined strategies to help GOED and partners move forward.
