ETN was specifically founded to develop and commercialize a ?green? proprietary technology, termed Mechanically-Assisted ElectroSorptive Deionization (MAESDI), otherwise known as ?Electro-Mechanical Capacitive Deionization (E-M/CDI),? an efficient low-cost/low-power process that converts brackish or saline water to fresh water, with the added capability of removing other ionic impurities (e.g., nitrates, sulfates, arsenic, cyanide, lead, iron, calcium, magnesium, etc.) from well waters and/or mining wastewaters.
