Las Vegas Nevada ? June? 23, 2020 – Combining the luck o?the Irish and the Lady Luck of Las Vegas an exciting new partnership has formed.? WaterStart, a non-profit collective of globally recognized leaders who are adapting to change by scaling up new solutions to water challenges, is pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with Enterprise Ireland the largest seed investor in Europe and the second biggest globally.? The partnership will allow WaterStart to assist Enterprise Ireland?s clients to expand globally in the water technology space.? Enterprise Ireland is the Irish Government?s trade and innovation agency, supporting Irish companies to grow internationally.? Working with entrepreneurs and business leaders across the full-business spectrum, Enterprise Ireland, the second-largest VC in the world (by deal count), provides not only funding but also access to key networks, assistance with research and development, and expert advice on developing and executing effective product and service export plans.

Building on its previous successes in helping international companies, WaterStart will work with Enterprise Ireland to assist Irish-owned technology companies seeking to enter the U.S. market.

Sara Hill, SVP Southern US, and Mexico with Enterprise Ireland, said: ?WaterStart has successfully helped Irish-owned Klir and other international tech companies enter the U.S. market while expanding its program in Australia.? Their experience and insight will be key to helping Enterprise Ireland?s water technology clients navigate and enter the U.S. market.?

Through WaterStart?s competitive request for proposal (RFP) process, Klir was selected by the Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA) to conduct a pilot of its Klir?s compliance software built specifically for water agencies.? The pilot was a success, meeting a key need for water agencies like SNWA.

David Johnson, SNWA Deputy General Manager of Engineering and Operations and WaterStart Board Chair said: ?Technologies like Klir help water agencies increase efficiency of permit management processes, providing effective tools to monitor and track compliance reporting while reducing the overall hours needed to manage the entire permitting process.? The partnership between Enterprise Ireland and WaterStart, will bring valuable networking and expertise to Irish companies, such as Klir, seeking to enter the U.S. market.?

?I am delighted to see the announcement of a partnership between these two innovative groups. Separately, WaterStart and Enterprise Ireland have been the catalyst for Klir’s rapid growth and success. WaterStart facilitated a paid pilot for Klir with SNWA, widely regarded as one of the most innovative water agencies globally, exactly what we needed to successfully enter the US market. WaterStart continues to aid our expansion beyond the US and I am excited for other Irish companies with global ambition to have the opportunity to respond to the challenges that WateSstart so effectively address,? said David Lynch, CEO of Klir.

Nathan Allen, Executive Director of WaterStart also notes ?We have developed a global network with strong membership in the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom.? Our expertise in working with tech companies entering the U.S. market is the result of reviewing over 300 proposals from tech companies representing 21 countries and deploying 27 projects with our members.? The successful pilot projects resulted in $1.8 million in added revenue for our tech companies and an approximately $30 million return to our members.? Our new partnership with Enterprise Ireland is a natural extension of our previous efforts and successes and will allow us to provide valuable assistance to their client companies.??
