Syrinix provides intelligent pipeline monitoring technologies to water utilities. These technologies provide real time monitoring of pressure, flow and acoustics that enable distribution system managers to identify leaks, bursts, transients, and other disruptions in the system.   • To provide all aspects of technical support in both pre-sales and post sales situations.
  • To be the single point of contact for technical issues in North America.
  • To act as primary interface with the Customer and coordinate other Syrinix personnel as necessary to provide excellent technical support.
  • To provide technical and operational training in North America to clients on the use of Syrinix products and services.
  • To report to the Company on requirements for product enhancements or modifications as part of the product road map team.
  • To act as liaison with company’s R&D department.
  • To embrace the Company’s policy of continual improvement to provide our clients with an ever improving support experience.
  • To provide regular updates to the VP Sales and escalate potential challenges and any unresolved issues promptly.
  • North American travel will be expected, with occasional international travel.


Technical Support
Be familiar with all aspects of Syrinix technologies (training will be provided). To be able to install, commission and troubleshoot Syrinix technologies. To become the Company expert on North American communications protocols / networks. To support the Business Development team pursuing sales opportunities. To be the point person for clients seeking contact with Syrinix technical and R&D departments (Technical Support Group). To understand power options such as solar systems, fuel cells etc.

Customer Support
Be primary contact for the customer for all post sale technical issues. To identify best fit solutions in pre-sales scenarios. Provide project review and installation review services in pre-sales phase. To assist clients during installation phase. Escalate challenges and overdue issues to Technical Support group in HO. Sign off implementation/ installation plans.

Making an informed contribution to the product road map team by identifying product opportunities and weaknesses. Prepare monthly report for VP Sales on key performance indicators (KPIs), issues and challenges. Prepare monthly review of technical issues for Technical Support Group. Actively support team and colleagues in the delivery of service and the continuous development and improvement of service quality. Travel to customer sites will occasionally be required. Be the prime point of contact on technical issues in North America. Perform any other duty as requested by your manager.

Job Experiences:

Experience working with operations groups
Experience of working on data collection equipment
Electrical or Mechanical applications in the field

Pipeline, metering and water industry experience
Knowledge/qualification and skills

Degree in Engineering or Applied Sciences or similar skill level achieved through work and continual development. High level of competence with Microsoft Office applications, computers and IT systems generally.

Presentation and communication skills
